…Oloyede-Almaroof Approves Appointment as APC Moves to Fire Up Grassroots Mobilisation

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has moved to strengthen its campaign machinery in Oshodi/Isolo as prominent party chieftain, Hon. Olukayode Ezekiel Salako, takes charge of the party’s Election Campaign and Flag-Off Committee in the local government area.

The appointment, approved by the office of the Executive Chairman of Oshodi/Isolo Local Government, Otunba Kehinde Oloyede-Almaroof, was formally announced by the APC LGA Chairman, Hon. Saheed Animashaun, on Friday, October 9, 2026, during a high-level meeting of party leaders and stakeholders.

With the new mandate, Salako is expected to lead the campaign committee in driving grassroots mobilisation, coordinating party stakeholders and overseeing the party’s campaign and flag-off activities ahead of the forthcoming elections.

The development is being seen as part of efforts to consolidate the APC’s political structure and strengthen its campaign coordination across Oshodi/Isolo.

Also appointed into the committee are Hon. Rafiu Adenopo, as Public Relations Officer (PRO), and Hon. Prince Adekunle Adewale Kehinde, popularly known as Agboni, as Secretary.

The committee will coordinate campaign programmes, mobilise party leaders and supporters, manage stakeholder engagement and oversee arrangements for major campaign activities in line with the APC’s strategic direction.

The committee’s first major assignment will be the organisation of a mega declaration and campaign flag-off for Mayowa Alakija’s House of Assembly campaign project.

The event is expected to bring together APC leaders, political stakeholders, party loyalists, supporters and associates in what is projected to be a major show of political strength and grassroots mobilisation in the constituency.

The committee is expected to deploy its organisational structure towards ensuring massive participation, effective mobilisation and a successful campaign launch for the House of Assembly hopeful.

The appointment of Salako, a prominent figure within the Oshodi/Isolo APC political structure, is expected to bring renewed coordination and momentum to the party’s campaign activities in the area.

Further appointments, including additional party stakeholders who will serve on the main committee and various subcommittees, are expected to be announced in due course.
